Welcome To My Website!

Once upon a time, music teachers and performers mailed out brochures, and you could search for them in the Yellow Pages. But times have changed! Now you can find anything and anyone online, for better or for worse.

There are many advantages to having an online presence. For one, it saves a lot of trees and postage. Information can be easily updated, and anyone with a digital device and an internet connection can find what they’re looking for, and share it with others.

This website covers two things:

  1. My music studio, where I teach flute and piano;
  2. My career as a performer with different orchestras and ensembles.

FLUTE & PIANO LESSONS

If you’re interested in flute and/or piano lessons for yourself or your child, please take a few minutes to go over the answers to questions I get asked the most on the FAQ-page. You might also want to read what other students and parents have said about their experience studying with me. You’ll find their comments on the Testimonials page. After that, drop me a line or call me at 610-515-9152. I’d love to hear from you!

As you can see, there’s a special page that’s only accessible to my students and their parents. You need to register to see the information on that page. We can either set this up at the beginning of a lesson, or I can email you step-by-step instructions. I’m also creating a closed Facebook group for my studio, where you can find updates, and where we can all interact in a privacy-protected setting.

PERFORMANCES

You may already know that I’m not only a teacher. I’ve been performing for over thirty-five years, and I take that experience right into my lessons, masterclasses, and clinics. The About-section of my site has a list of orchestras and ensembles I’m performing with. I’ve also added an events calendar to several pages, like the one you’re looking at right now. If you’re interested in seeing me perform, click on the event title. The address plus a Google map link will pop right up!

Speaking of performances, I have two August concerts scheduled on the Jersey Shore with the John Luckenbill Pops (see top picture). In September I’ll be playing with the Orchestra of St. Peter by the Sea twice. October 6th marks the first performance of a 12-show run of the musical The Secret Garden, at the Civic Theatre in Allentown, PA. More about that later!

NEWS & TIPS

Finally, there’s the News & Tips page you’re visiting at the moment. Here’s where you’re going to find background info on upcoming concerts, and I’ll be sharing tips for music students of all ages and abilities, like the article 5 Tips To Get The Most From Your Music Lessons.

Stay in touch, and bring some music into your life!
